How We Work With Backup Platforms
One configuration change. A distinct recovery layer.
The SafeRoom presents itself as a standard NAS target. You point a job at it; the daily workflow stays familiar, while the recovery copy is indexed, managed, and physically isolated.
EchoLeaf Sentry™ orchestrates
Sentry is the software layer. It caches incoming writes on SSD so backups stay fast, indexes every file, ages content to tape, and manages the library. The whole archive appears as one drive, with files keeping their original names and folder structure.
The tape isolates
LTO is append only by design, so nothing already written can be overwritten or encrypted in place. A committed cartridge has no IP address, no authentication surface, and no API endpoint. The SafeRoom is both halves together.

Any Bad Day
It does not have to be an attacker.
Your backup platform already handles the everyday restore, and handles it well. These are the four it tends to struggle with, and not one of them requires a hacker.
