THE OPPORTUNITY

EchoLeaf is hiring a full-cycle Senior SMB Sales Representative to drive new business and grow customer accounts in the rapidly evolving data storage and security space. Reporting to the ChiefSales Officer, the Senior SMB Sales Representative is a key independent contractor role responsible for generating new business, expanding customer relationships, and supporting channel partner programs within your assigned territory. Success in this role requires comfort operating in an early-stage startup environment where processes evolve and initiative is expected.
This is a hands-on revenue role with real pipeline ownership, direct visibility with leadership, and the opportunity to influence how we scale our SMB sales motion as the company grows.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable prospecting, running their own deals, closing business, building long-term customer relationships, actively creating opportunities, and driving results.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Generate and qualify new SMB opportunities through outbound and partner-driven sales activity
  • Develop and execute territory and account sales plans aligned to revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through negotiation and close
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate CRM tracking
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Run discovery conversations, demos, and solution presentations
  • Stay engaged with customers post-sale to support retention and identify expansion opportunities
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for your assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding and continued customer success
  • Recording, tracking, and communicating business development/sales progress using company tools and methods

WHAT WE NEED

The candidate should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is deeply committed to customer and partner success.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in B2B software or cybersecurity sales, including direct and/or channel sales experience
  • Proven success selling to SMB organizations and engaging senior IT and security stakeholders such as CISO, CIO, IT Director, Disaster Recovery, Compliance, or Infrastructure leadership
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and close business
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with business decision-makers
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow sales and execute the business plan

  • Experience selling data storage, cybersecurity, or infrastructure solutions
  • Experience selling into SMB customers
